The financing, entitlement and construction of residential developments was a substantial part of our business until 2005, at which time we felt that the housing market had become seriously overheated and we ceased operations in that field.

Thereafter we have focused on our commercial and industrial developments as well as on our growing interests in renewable energy. Our currently active developments are the Pointe Monterey in Palm Desert as well as about 170 acres in Palm Springs on which several maps are being processed. We anticipate that most of the acreage will be utilized for wind and/or solar generation.

Pointe Monterey at Palm Desert was developed by Noble & Company, LLC in partnership with Berdan Holdings, LLC.  We obtained entitlements for 72 acres for commercial use and about 100 acres of service industrial zoned property.

The commercial land was developed into a Walmart and Sam’s Club anchored shopping center by the Carver Companies and Malcolm Riley & Associates which purchased the property from us.

The remaining land was subdivided into 37 parcels ranging in size from ½ acre to 10 acres each.  These properties were sold in the open market and many have been improved with attractive buildings.
